Kenan W. Mullis

Expertise: Insurance Company Taxation

Kenan is responsible for publication of the firm’s monthly newsletter and for facilitating the monitoring service the firm offers to their clients.  Kenan also provides legal support for the partners on a range of federal tax issues affecting insurance companies and insurance products.

Kenan has assisted low-income individuals in disputes with the IRS as a member of the Janet R. Spragens Federal Tax Clinic, and he has volunteered with the D.C. Earned Income Tax Credit Campaign. He is active in the ABA Tax Section’s Young Lawyers Forum. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Kenan worked as a federal tax law editor for a legal news and publishing company.
