About Greg:
Greg’s practice concentrates on federal taxation of property-casualty insurance companies and taxation of exempt organizations. He is experienced in counseling insurance companies on tax planning and compliance matters, as well as representing them in controversies involving IRS examinations, IRS Appeals proceedings, and litigation. Greg has been a frequent participant in tax committee meetings of property-casualty trade associations, and he has represented the property and casualty insurance industry on the IRS Information Reporting Program Advisory Committee. In his exempt organization practice, Greg has advised both private foundations and public charities, and he has served on the boards of local charities. He joined the firm in 1995; he entered private practice in 1981, after two years as a judicial law clerk at the U.S. Tax Court.
